Marco Eisenbart has produced two documentaries about me, my life and my work in the ring during and after my wrestling career.

Crimson Mask (2012)

Crimson Mask is a documentary film by Marco Eisenbarth, that follows German ‘Ultra Violence Wrestler’ Thumbtack Jack a.k.a. Alexander Bedranowsky in and outside of the wrestling ring.

Being much more than a simple career review, the film gives a deep insight beyond the mask of this seemingly violent and insane character that is Thumbtack Jack, who mutilates his opponents with thumbtacks, barbed wire, syringes and even fire. Crimson Mask shows the man on the other side.

From his career high in the USA to his feud with arch enemy Drake Younger all the way to his very last ‘Death-Match’ against long time friend and mentor ‘Hate’, the filmmaker never leaves Thumbtack Jack’s side. But then fate strikes and changes Alexander Bedranowsky’s life forever…

Cutting Deep (2008)

Cutting Deep is the very first feature length documentary about a Death Match Wrestler. It follows the German wrestler Thumbtack Jack in- and outside of the wrestling ring granting a deep look into the career and life of this unique athlete. It takes the viewer beyond what happens in the ring and reveals a person that couldn’t be any more different from the sick and twisted character that Thumbtack Jack is inside of the ring.

Availability

Unfortunately neither of the documentaries is currently available digitally, while “Cutting Deep” is only available on DVD shipping from the US. There are no physical releases of “Crimson Mask”. We are, however, currently looking for a digital rental or purchase solution.
